FIELD NOTES
Scroll the scrub to any phase. Reverse drains four finite rewind cells. A rejected test costs one full cell.
For a valid freeze, both named witnesses must occupy the brass gate, exactly one of them must be clutched, and the other must still be rolling.
Rejected freezes reveal what the machine refuses to prove. The culprit waits after the third contradiction.
Each accepted contradiction advances the archive pawl and costs one rewind cell. A flawless docket avoids every rejection penalty.
