Eight fungal leaves must form one continuous ring before tick fifteen. Edit one cell or vein each tick. At tick three the gate wakes; every third tick after that, blight can fork into a second-strongest route.

GROWSpores deepen into roots, then leaves when light, moisture, and nutrient flow agree.

SHAPEBridge edges, open apertures, alternate moisture, or leave dry scars. Every choice changes the nutrient field.

ENDURETick three starts the Blightfront. On ticks six, nine, and twelve it can branch, so sealed routes and sacrificial cells matter.

Sound begins after entry: procedural breathing and marimba only.

VAULT SUSPENDED

The mycelium waits.

No tick, growth, blight, or pulse change occurs while paused.

FIELD NOTES

Read the cell, then commit.

SPORE

Awaken bare substrate. It becomes root on the next viable tick, then a leaf on the following tick.

BRIDGE

Toggle one eight-way vein. The cyan line shows the selected edge; connected nutrient strength falls by 20% per step.

APERTURE

Toggle a local light aperture. Leaves prefer 26–78% light; flooding a cell stalls its unfurling.

SPRING

Alternate dry and wet substrate. Leaves prefer 28–82% moisture.

SCALD

Convert soil to a dry barrier or restore it. A dry cell breaks conduction and growth.

BLIGHT FRONT

The seeded corner wakes at tick three. Every third tick after that, the strongest infected cell can seed its second route as well as its first.

PREVIEW

Every staged edit simulates exactly two future ticks. Ghost leaves are growth; violet teeth show the route, while pulse delta, cuts, barriers, and forks expose the cost.
