WARDEN'S COAT

The coat on the hook is somebody's whole job. Put it on and the hall will expect you to do the work.

1. Don a coat. It decides which doors open.
2. Perform the duty your coat owes before the next torch turns.
3. Overhear colleagues for a schedule fact you can answer a challenge with.
4. Decline a challenge and keep your standing, but lose that room.

WASD walk — alcoves are toward you, so S steps into one and W steps back to the doors.
